IT, ItalyDr. Ceresoli achieved his MD at the University of Milan, Italy. He specialized at the same University in Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology. He is currently Head of the Mesothelioma Unit of the Oncology Department at Humanitas Gavazzeni Clinic, Bergamo, Italy. Dr. Ceresoli is part of the Faculty for thoracic cancers of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO). He is reviewer and editorialist for several major journals, including The Lancet, The Lancet Oncology, Lung Cancer, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, and European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. He is author of more than 160 publications on international indexed journals. His clinical and research activity is mainly in the field of pleural mesothelioma. He is currently Head of MET.I (Mesothelioma Network Italy), an Italian National Foundation for Research and Treatment of pleural mesothelioma.
