CH, SwitzerlandProf Dr Paul Martin Putora is a radiation oncologist at the Kantonsspital St. Gallen in Switzerland and holds the degree of Professor at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Besides radiation oncology he also holds degrees in business informatics, healthcare informatics and management. His research focuses on thoracic oncology and decision-making - he is especially interested in areas where evidence is not clear and controversial. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed publications and has participated in multiple guideline- and decision-making projects in various topics of thoracic oncology – many focusing on the interdisciplinary aspect of thoracic oncology and specifically on the role of radiotherapy in this setting.
